Frankie & Neeve

Roadbot- A collaboration with Corporation Pop

They say that from tiny acorns, grow mighty oak trees.

With the help and support of a very special Tech company, the acorn that is Frankie and Neeve’s RSA, will grow into the mightiest of Oak trees, with branches and roots that will reach a whole nation and will promote unity through instilling a mindset that is caring, thoughtful, patient and respectful in our children and young people.

Allow me to introduce to you: Corporation Pop. Based in Manchester, with over a decade of experience in Augmented reality and associated technologies, which is just what our charity needs.

Our collaboration with Pop started with a simple email in July 2024.

We approached a number of tech companies and received no replies. Then out of the blue, some 5 weeks later, we received an email from Pop apologising for not responding to our email earlier and inviting us to have a phone conversation. That phone conversation led to a face to face meeting at Corporation Pop, where we met with Dan Taylor, Co owner of the company.
We showed our acorn to Dan, explained how it was created and showed him that we now, Thanks to a very kind teacher, have a digital version of it.

We left that meeting in disbelief, and, if I’m honest, with a tear in our eyes.

Not only did Dan tell us that Corporation Pop love our acorn and want to help us bring it to life in AR, he told us that they were willing to generate a prototype costing £40,000 that we can use to help secure funding and sponsorship on a pro bono basis.

That means FOR FREE! To say that we were speechless is an understatement. But not only did Pop offer this, they said that they will be with us for our entire journey because they believe in our project and the positive impact it has the potential to have on our children and young people and reduce the number of needless lives lost on our roads.

Not only are Corporation Pop kind and generous, they also have exactly the kind of moral compass we wish to instill in the drivers of the future, turning down many profitable offers to develop APPs because they believe that they have a negative impact on working people’s lives.

Our prototype is now complete, and we have taken it back to the children who created our acorn, and their feedback was more positive than we could have hoped for.

If more company’s thought like Corporation Pop, the world would be a much kinder place.

This is our feeble attempt to say THANK YOU to Dan and the wonderful team at Corporation Pop. A company owned by human beings who employ human beings in order to support human beings and Frankie and Neeve’s RSA are blessed to know and have the opportunity to collaborate with them.
