We are incredibly grateful to BBC Crimewatch for featuring the Frankie and Neeve Road Safety Charity and helping us share our story with a national audience. This opportunity allowed us to highlight not only the tragic events that led to the creation of the charity but also the vital work we are doing to educate young people about road safety and the devastating consequences of dangerous driving.
Frankie and Neeve were taken from us far too soon in a horrific road traffic collision, a moment that forever changed the lives of their families and friends. In the face of unimaginable grief, Frank and Calvin channelled their pain into action, determined to ensure that no other family would have to endure a similar tragedy. The Frankie and Neeve Road Safety Charity was born from this mission – to educate, raise awareness, and advocate for safer roads for all.
The charity is dedicated to promoting road safety awareness, particularly among young people. Through educational initiatives, workshops, and events, we aim to instil a sense of responsibility and awareness in drivers and passengers alike. By sharing our story, we hope to make a lasting impact on the decisions people make when they get behind the wheel or step into a vehicle.
Our work has seen us visit schools, colleges, and community groups, delivering powerful talks that convey the real-life consequences of reckless driving. We emphasize the importance of staying aware, making smart choices, and looking out for one another on the roads. Every conversation, every event, and every young person who walks away with a newfound understanding of road safety brings us one step closer to preventing further tragedies.
The BBC Crimewatch Feature
Appearing on BBC Crimewatch was an incredibly important moment for the charity. It gave us the chance to reach a wider audience and bring our message to thousands of people across the country. The segment walked viewers through the events that led to the loss of Frankie and Neeve, shedding light on the devastating impact of dangerous driving. More importantly, it showcased the positive action that has arisen from such heartbreak – the charity’s efforts to educate and advocate for change.
We cannot thank the BBC Crimewatch team enough for their support in raising awareness and helping us tell our story. Their dedication to highlighting important issues like road safety ensures that more people hear our message and, hopefully, make safer choices on the road.
